A tiny landlocked county within the East Midlands region of England, United Kingdom, the county of Rutland has an area of just one hundred and forty seven square miles and a population of a mere 37,600. The county it borders the neighbouring counties of Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire, Rutland has sixteen wards and is represented by twenty six councillors.
