Suffolk UK - Based to the north-east of London, the county of Suffolk is part of the area of England generally known as East Anglia. The county incorporates a land area of 1,466 square miles and has a population of about 730,000. The county of Suffolk is bounded by the neighbouring counties of Essex, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire, the major town is Ipswich, whilst additional vital towns are Bury St Edmunds, Felixstowe, Stowmarket, Newmarket and Lowestoft.
