Suffolk Review - Situated to the north-east of London, the county of Suffolk is in the region of England referred to as East Anglia. The county has a land area of 1,466 square miles along with a population of approximately seven hundred and thirty thousand. The county is bordered by the neighbouring counties of Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire, Ipswich is the county town, whilst additional significant towns are Lowestoft, Felixstowe, Stowmarket, Newmarket and Bury Saint Edmunds. Suffolk is mostly low-lying and flat, you will discover wetland areas in the north of the county that are within The Broads. From 1889-1974 the county was divided into two administrative counties, East Suffolk and West Suffolk.
