Suffolk England - Set to the north-east of Greater london, the rural county of Suffolk is within the region of Great Britain referred to as East Anglia. The county has a land area of 1,466 square mls and has a population of about 730,000. Suffolk touches the neighbouring counties of Cambridgeshire, Essex and Norfolk, Ipswich is the county town, and other vital towns are Lowestoft, Stowmarket, Felixstowe, Newmarket and Bury Saint Edmunds.
