Suffolk Review - Found to the north-east of Greater london, the rural county of Suffolk is part of the region of England known as East Anglia. The county incorporates a land area of 1,466 sq miles and a population of roughly seven hundred and thirty thousand. The county of Suffolk is bounded by the counties of Essex, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk, Ipswich is the major town, whilst additional major towns include Lowestoft, Stowmarket, Newmarket, Felixstowe and Bury Saint Edmunds. Suffolk is typically low-lying and flat, in the northern part of the county you can find wetland areas which are within The Broads National Park. From 1889-1974 Suffolk was divided into two administrative counties, West Suffolk and East Suffolk.
